Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement (6 months). Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the development center in Turgi, Aargau, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are Motion division.Starting date: 1st of MarchWe are looking for a motivated and talented intern to design a testing and evaluation framework for heavy machinery dynamic vehicle control.You will be mainly accountable for:•Design of tests for heavy machinery dynamic vehicle control•Effective evaluation of tests •Visualization of test resultsJoin ABB for your internship and work in a team that is dedicated to creating the future of motion!
Qualifications for the role
- Currently pursuing a Master degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or similar field
- You are passionate about vehicle dynamic
- You are interested in modelling of dynamic mechanical systems
- You have experience with Matlab/Simulink
- You are at ease communicating in English, German is an advantage
- Non-EU/non-EFTA citizens, please note that a certificate from your university, showing that an internship is a mandatory part of your studies, is required for the visa application
